Shipping
Delivery, processing, and timelines.
All EUGENIA KIM orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Orders placed after 5 PM EST or on weekends will be processed the following business day.
All orders ship from our New York City atelier within 1–2 business days of processing.
U.S. SHIPPING
- Complimentary Ground Shipping on orders over $200
- $15 Ground Shipping on orders under $200
- $30 2-Day Air | $50 Next-Day Air
Please note that oversized styles—such as our Mirabel hats—require a custom shipping quote due to size and packaging specifications. Our team will contact you directly with a delivery estimate after checkout.
CANADA & INTERNATIONAL
- $50 Flat Rate Shipping | $75 Express
- All international and Canadian orders are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
- All duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and may be collected upon delivery.
Tracking information will be sent once your order ships.
EUGENIA KIM is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once marked as delivered.
If your order appears missing, please contact Customer Care within 5 business days of delivery confirmation—we’ll do our best to assist.
HOLIDAY & BLACK FRIDAY ORDERS
Due to the high volume of seasonal orders, please allow 7–10 business days for processing before your order ships.
Expedited options are available at checkout, though additional processing time may still apply.
Black Friday & Cyber Monday Purchases
All items purchased during promotional events — including Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and sitewide seasonal sales — are final sale and not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit. Please review your selections carefully before completing your purchase.
Holiday Shipping Notice
While we do our best to meet expected delivery windows, carrier delays may occur during the holidays. We recommend placing all gift orders early to ensure timely arrival. Once an order is submitted, we’re unable to modify, cancel, or combine shipments.
Pre-Order & Backordered Items
Ship separately as noted on the product page and may follow different delivery timelines.
Returns
Return Eligibility & Conditions.
Eligible U.S. merchandise may be returned within 14 days of receipt for refund or exchange.
Items must be unworn, in original condition, and include all tags and packaging.
To initiate a return, email customercare@eugeniakim.com with your order number for approval.
Return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
Items Excluded from Return.
All sale styles, custom orders, and international (including Canada) purchases are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving your return.
Exchanges are subject to availability—please confirm item availability with our team before sending your return.
Unauthorized or late returns will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer at their expense.
We cannot accept returns for items purchased outside EUGENIAKIM.COM.
Promotions

Warranty & Repairs

Each EUGENIA KIM piece is crafted with precision and care.
All products are covered under a one-year limited warranty—valid for items purchased directly through EUGENIAKIM.COM or authorized retailers.
Repair Process.
Should your item require repair, please contact customercare@eugeniakim.com for assessment.
Repairs beyond one year, or outside standard policy, may incur a service fee.
Typical repair turnaround is 2–4 weeks, depending on materials and production capacity.
We recommend storing your hat properly to minimize the need for restoration over time.
Size Guide

Fit varies by style. Many hats include adjustable inner bands for a comfortable, secure fit.

Gift Cards
Purchase and redemption details for digital gift cards.
Digital gift cards are available in select denominations and delivered via email.
Gift cards are final sale and redeemable toward any online purchase.
To redeem, enter the code at checkout under Gift Card or Discount Code.
Custom Orders

Storage & Care
Preserving the craftsmanship and longevity of your piece.
WOVENS
Store in a hat box or on a flat surface where it will not be crushed. Lightly stuff the crown with tissue paper to maintain shape. Use a lint roller for surface lint and gently spot clean as needed. Avoid dry cleaning, which can distort the interlining and brim.
FELTS & STRAW
Store in a hat box and stuff the crown with tissue to support the brim. Handle by the brim, not the crown, to preserve structure. Clean with a soft brush or lint roller; for deeper cleaning, consult a professional hat maker.
KNITS
Fold and store as you would a sweater—never hang. Use a lint roller for surface lint. Many knit styles are hand-washable; follow care tags and dry flat.
FUR
Professional fur storage is recommended. If stored at home, wrap in acid-free tissue inside a hat box—never plastic. Professional fur cleaning only.
*Avoid prolonged sun exposure when not worn; it can fade natural fibers and delicate materials over time.

UPF protection for select styles.
At EUGENIA KIM, protection and polish go hand-in-hand. Many of our straw and woven hats are crafted from UPF-rated materials, offering measurable sun protection without compromising style.
What is UPF?
UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) measures how effectively a fabric shields the skin from UV radiation.
For reference:
- UPF 30–49 = Very Good protection (blocks 96–97% of UV rays)
- UPF 50+ = Excellent protection (blocks 98%+ of UV rays)
Our Standards
- Most of our natural and paper-straw hats are woven with fibers that naturally provide UPF 30–50+, verified through independent textile testing.
- Select collections—such as Mirabel, Courtney, and Valentina—use specialty straws and tightly woven constructions to achieve UPF 50+ certification.
- All fabrics used in UPF styles are sourced from trusted suppliers that meet ASTM D6603 (the recognized U.S. standard for sun-protective textiles).
How to Identify UPF Styles
Each product page clearly lists the UPF rating where applicable.
Look for “UPF 30” or “UPF 50+” under the Details section.
Care & Longevity
Sun-protective properties are inherent to the fibers and do not wash off or fade, though we recommend gentle handling:
- Avoid prolonged damp storage and high-heat drying.
- Clean using the care methods outlined under Storage & Care to maintain the weave’s integrity.
- Always allow straw and woven pieces to fully air-dry before storing.
